There are now about 200 km of marked Powder runs for freeriding in Austria. This makes the Arlberg area and its surroundings a real paradise for freerides. Safety is a top priority on these trips and should, of course, be a top priority in extreme sports.
The Arlberg therefore makes sure to carry out controlled avalanche blasting in the areas on a regular basis in order to ensure the highest level of safety.

Powder snow at Arlberg
What used to be a major disadvantage for Warth is now turning into an advantage. In the past, residents were cut off from the outside world for several months because there was simply too much snow. The mountains face north, which gives them a lot of snow.
When the snow disappears slowly on the southern faced mountains, you can still find amazing powder snow here, which is perfect for freeriding in Austria. The mountain is calling! Can you hear it…?
